Sloka recitation competition

Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Satsangam, R. K. Puram, is conducting Vishnu Sahasranama recitation competition for school children at Devi Kamakshi Mandir on Aruna Asif Ali Road here on November 20. Children studying in schools other than DTEA/Andhra schools can participate in the preliminary round competition for which the syllabus is as follows.

Group I (kindergarten classes, age below 5 years -- 10 slokas starting from Viswam Vishnu); Gr. II (Classes I and II -- slokas 1 to 25); Gr. III (Classes III to V -- slokas 1 to 50); Gr. IV (Classes VI to VIII -- slokas 1 to 100); Gr. V (Classes IX and X -- full text); and Gr. VI (Classes XI and XII -- full text and meanings will be asked).
