thanks to neeraja neeraja write up- padukai has been installed at mahaswamigal tapovanam at govindapuram on the last anusham. I was at govindapuram today. I caught the photos of the padugai,swamigal photo and some words in video by a long serving devotee of mahaperiyava. video photos recorded today 19 7 15.

The most interesting thing about padugai is that 54th acharya of sri kanchi kamakoti peetam was performing japams continusouly , giving darsan to devotees for two or three days in a month. Due to continuous disturbances by the devotees at that period, 54th acharya moved from the govindapuram to some other place. There is a oodai there- in olden days, water was going, now also there are chances for excess water to go in the odai.
