One cannot but remember, the Magnificent Role of Mahaperiavah in the framing of Indian Constitution:

When the Constitution was framed by Eminent legal luminaries and presented in the Parliament for hearing, there was a dispute over the term - in accordance with law - and at the behest of Mahaperiavah, representations were made to suitably amend the clause. Result.
The final form of Article 26 reads as follows:
...Every Religious denomination or any section thereof, shall have the right to:
(A)Establish and maintain institutions for religious and charitable purposes,
(B)Manage its own affairs in matters of Religion,
(C)Own and acquire moveable and immovable property and
( D)Administer such property in accordance with law...

Further, anticipating even
irreligiousness may come to power, in some of the States, because of which Religious Instituions may suffer, this was transferred from State list to Concurrent List also.
